The Challenge
The Instituto de Defesa do Direito de Defesa (IDDD) required a strategic communication approach to present the findings of an extensive, complex national study on custody hearings in Brazil. The objective was to design a report that would not only serve as a technical reference for legal experts but also remain visually accessible and engaging for a broader audience.
The solution
We developed a visual identity that balanced institutional sobriety with information clarity. The project was executed across five strategic pillars:
Visual Identity & Editorial Design:
Created a cohesive editorial concept that translated the urgency and gravity of the subject matter into a contemporary visual language.
Editorial Layout:
Focused on reading fluidity, transforming high-density data and text into dynamic, easy-to-navigate sections.
Infographic Design:
Converted complex procedural data and statistics into intuitive infographics, allowing readers to quickly grasp critical insights into the prison system.
Digital & Motion Graphics:
Extended the project into the digital realm by creating animated charts, ensuring dynamism and maximizing the reach of the report’s conclusions across social media channels.
